Four macro controls shape your audio through distinct DSP behaviours, each named after the property it simulates:
* PULSE— A stutter engine that rhythmically gates the signal. At low values it adds subtle pulse and snap. Pushed hard, it fractures audio into stuttering, beat-locked fragments.
* REVERSE — A probabilistic reverse engine. At low settings, occasional flips of the audio stream introduce a sense of unpredictability. At high values, the signal is in constant, chaotic flux — playback direction toggling at intervals tied to your DAW's BPM.
* DELAY— A feedback delay set to one beat. Turn it low for a ghost echo that adds depth. Wind it up and the signal builds on itself, accumulating into dense, evolving repetition.
* PITCH — A granular pitch processor based on dual-grain Hann-windowed playback. Unlike traditional pitch shifting, Gravity slows and bends audio downward through sub-sample linear interpolation, producing a viscous, magnetic pull on your sound.
Reacting to the controls, a real-time 3D orb pulses and morphs in response to your audio. Built inside a hardware-accelerated sandbox, the visualizer responds to RMS level, spectral content, and parameter state simultaneously, making Material as expressive to watch as it is to use.
A built-in 3-band EQ (Low Shelf / Peaking Mid / High Shelf) with an asymmetric gain curve — up to −60 dB cut and +12 dB boost — sits in tandem with the signal chain, letting you sculpt the source as effects are applied.
